Michigan 78 Oregon 53

Michigan beat the Oregon Ducks last night to put them in the NIT Championship game. They completely destroyed them 78-53. Michigan shot 52.7 percent in the game. They also played great defence. Michigan is now 22-11 on the season. They play Rutgers in the championship game Thursday at 7:00p.m. Michigan is hopeing to carry their success in the National Invitation Tournament into next season. They are a young team with a lot of upside. Michigan starts two freshmen and two sophomores alongside senior Bernard Robinson Jr. Next year they have a very good shot to win the Big Ten. I'm excited about Michigan's future. They will be very fun to watch over the next couple of years.

Redwings 5 Wild 3

The Detroit Red Wings are now 1 point away from clinching the Western Conferenece's top playoff-seed after recording a 5-3 victory over the Minnesota Wild Monday night. With 105 points, the Redwings lead the San Jose Sharks by five points with three games to go. The win also lifted Detroit to No.1 in the overall NHL standings. Datsyuk scored his 30th goal of the season. He now has a goal in 5 straight games. McCarty scored a perfectly placed goal over the shoulder of the Wild's goalie. This was his first goal in 9 games.Fischer, Brendan Shanahan, and Boyd Deveraux scored the other Wings' goals. I don't think the President's Trophy matters as much as everyone thinks. If the Wings get home ice that is great,if they don't to bad. They need to worry about getting all their injured players back on the ice before the playoffs start.

Dream Job

Last night was the final Episode of ESPN's Dream Job. The winner would become the next Sportscenter anchor. Mike Hall won the job over Aaron Levine(even though Aaron probably did better). He not only won the job of being the next Sportscenter anchor but he also won a brand new Mazda 3. He is going to make 950,000 dollars this year(he only gets a one year contract with ESPN). I wanted him to win because I think he is a entertaining guy. He will be fun to watch him on Sportscenter a few times a week. I hope he does well and is with ESPN for years to come.

Darko who?

This year everyone has been talking about the NBA's 2 top rookies. They are, of course, Cleveland's Lebron James and Denver's Carmello Anthony. Lebron James, the first pick in the draft, has averaged 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists a game. Carmello Anthony, the third pick in the draft, has averaged 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists a game. Most people don't remember who the second pick was in last April's NBA draft. The Detroit Pistons had that pick and they selected Darko Milicic. Darko is a 7 foot center from Serbia. He is only 18 years old. They could have drafted Carmello but they passed him up. Most people thought(and still do) how dumb the Pistons were for passing up Carmello. Joe Dumars was the main guy who drafted Darko. Joe said that he has never regreted his decision for drafting Darko over Carmello. He saw flashes of a future allstar. Darko played against much older basketball players while in Serbia. He played very well against those older players. Darko has only played in about 120 minutes this year. Joe D. and Larry Brown want to break him in slowly. They have no rush to put him in the lineup. They are already in contention for a NBA title. Even though Darko hasn't played much I think he getting a lot better. He is learning what life is like in the NBA and America. Larry Brown is teaching him how to be a great center. People just need to realize that Darko will be good like Carmello and James but it will take longer. He has all the tools and skills to be a great center one day in the NBA. Darko's time will come. When that time comes Darko will be ready.

Pistons 100 Knicks 85

After losing 2 games in a row the Pistons won last night against the Knicks 100-85. Tayshaun Prince was unstoppable in the first half, making 8 of 8 shots and scoring 18 points. Chauncey Billups matched a season high with 13 assists, 10 in the first half. With Prince and Billups sparking the offence, the Pistons raced to a 67-49 halftime lead. This was the first time they surpassed the century mark since Feb. 29(12 games ago). The Pistons held S. Marbury to just 12 points. Rasheed Wallace didn't play because of a back injury. The Pistons are now 47-27 on the season.

Redwings 2 Avs 0

The Redwings beat the Avs again today 2-0. They beat them 2 nights ago 3-1. Legace played great again stopping 27 shots. In both games combined he stopped 61/62 shots. This was Legace's third shutout this season and the sixth of his career. Datsyuk continued his hot streak with another goal(his 29th). Mathieu S. scored the other goal for the Wings(his 14th). Detroit is now 29-6-4 at home.

Redwings 3 Avs 1

They Redwings played a great game last night beating the Avs 3-1. After playing a few bad games in a row they came back and played the way they need to play to win in the playoffs. Datsyuk,Zetterberg, and Holmstrom all scored for the Redwings. Legace played great stopping 34/35 shots. He would have had a shutout but the Avs scored a late goal. It was a good game for Legace especially after allowing 9 goals in the last 2 games. The Wings next game is against the Avs (again) on ABC this Saturday.

Pistons 74 Spurs 85

The Pistons lost their second straight game last night. They were beaten by the Spurs 85-74. The Pistons shot 45 percent (33-of-73) from the floor but made just 6-of-13 free throws and committed 17 turnovers. The Pistons got frusterated during the game and that was evedent when Ben Wallace got tossed for screaming at the ref on a loose ball foul. Rasheed Wallace had 17 points and 14 rebounds. The Pistons only scored 15 points in the fourth qaurter. After winning 8 straight the Pistons are probably going to start another losing streak. They have gone up and down all year. They need to get their act together before the playoffs start.

Lions sign Brock Marion

Right after I found out the Tigers signed Urbina, I found out that the Lions made a big signing today also. They signed free agent safety Brock Marion to a 4 year deal. This is a huge signing for the Lions. The Lions' secondary has been weak for a LONG time. Marion is a 3 time probowler and 2 time Super Bowl winner. He is an eleven year verteran. In his career, Marion has posted 100-or-more tackles in eight seasons. He has intercepted 28 career passes including five in each season from 2000 to 2002. Marion has also been a good kick returner, he was third on Miami's all-time kickoff return average (23.5) behind Mercury Morris and Fulton Walker. The Lions were looking to maybe pick up a safety in the upcoming draft but now, with this signing, they probably won't. This has been one of the best offseasons for the Lions in their history. They have spent the money and have gotten Damien Woody, Tai Streets, F.Bryant, and now Brock Marion. If the Lions don't sign anymore players hopefully they can fill the rest of their holes in the upcoming draft.

The Tigers get Urbina

After all the free agents the Tigers signed this offseason I thought they were done. Well it turns out I was wrong. Today they signed free agent closer Ugueth Urbina to a 1 year,3.5 million dollar deal. He is a very solid veteren closer. Urbina went 3-4 with a 2.81 ERA and 32 saves in the regular season with Texas and Florida last season. He also had 4 more saves in the playoffs(2 of wich were in the World Series) Urbina hasn't pitched since closing out game 6 of the World Series last October. Before they signed Urbina they sent Matt Anderson to Triple-A Toledo. Sending Matt Anderson down to the minors left one open spot on the Tigers' 40 man roster. Urbina said that he already felt at home. He is good friends with former Marlin Pudge Rodriguez. This is a big signing for the Tigers. They haven't have a good closer in a while. This signing also makes the Tigers' bullpen a lot stronger. Now when the Tigers have a lead going into the ninth inning they will have a much better shot to win the game.

The Redwings have had a good season thus far. They are leading the Western Conference with 99 points. They will probably make a long run in the Playoffs. I think the Wings best player has been Pavel D. After scoring only 12 goals last year he has responded with 27 goals and 37 assists. Even with the good season the Wings have lost some keys guys. Dominik Hasek retired a few months ago because of a severe groin injury. They signed D.Hatcher this offseason but he got injured and was out for over 60 games. They got Robert Lang right before the trade deadline. Then he got hurt and is going to be out till the playoffs. They have also had some other injuries but those are the main ones. The Wings are only a few games from the playoffs and hopefully they can get healthy and be in top playing form. I am excited about the playoffs and I honestly think they will win the Stanley Cup.

Michigan 88 Hawaii 73

Michigan won yesterday against Hawaii 88-73 in the NIT quarterfinals. Bernard R. had 17 points. Michigan played another solid game. The game stayed close till the second half when Michigan shut Hawaii down. Michigan is now in the NIT final four. They play the winner of the Notre Dame-Oregon game. Whoever wins that game goes to the NIT championship game on April 1.

New Hockey Website

I recently ran across a brand new hockey website. It about the NHL and all the new gear they are using. It is a little rough on the edges but I think it can work in time. The address is www.everythingabouthockey.blogspot.com .

Pistons 81 Hornets 82

After winning 8 straight games the Pistons finally lost last night. The Hornets beat the Pistons in a very tight game (82-81). With 17 seconds left in the game Chauncey Billups hit a 3 pointer to put the Pistons up by one point. New Orleans went to Magloire, who's shot was blocked out of bounds by Pistons' center Ben Wallace with six seconds to go. The Hornets inbounded the ball to David Wesley. Wesley threw up a shot, but it was blocked again by Ben Wallace. Jamaal M. picked up the loose ball and swished an uncontested jump shot as time expired. Even with the loss the Pistons still played a decent game. Rip H. had 17 points. Ben Wallace added 13 points,15 rebounds, and 5 blocks. This was the first time in 9 games the Pistons have allowed 80 points.

Redwings 2 Sharks 5

The Redwings lost their second straight game last night to the Sharks 5-2. Datsyuk netted his 27th goal of the season. Jiri F. scored the other Wings' goal. After firing 57 shots against the Ducks they put up 39 more against the Sharks. Sharks' goalie E. Nabokov played great by stopping 37/39 shots. In the last 2 games the Wings have allowed 13 goals and have lost both of them. Legace didn't play that well (again). After allowing 4 goals against the Ducks he allowed another 5 goals on only 20 shots. The Wings still lead the conference with 99 points. Their next 2 games are against the Avs.

Michigan 63 Oklahoma 52

Michigan finally played yesterday in the second round of the NIT. They beat Oklahoma 63-52. D. Harris had 17 points. Daniel Horton also had a good game. I didn't catch any of the game but I know Michigan played well. They have a very good shot at winning the entire NIT. They are very talented and have a lot of guys who can score. Michigan now plays Hawaii (21-11) in the quarterfinals.

Redwings 6 Mighty Ducks 8

The Redwings and Ducks last night played the most exciting game of the year. Even though the Wings lost 8-6, it was an incredible game. Hull,Datsyuk, and Yzerman all scored for the Wings in the first 7 minutes of the game. The Ducks stormed back though and scored 5 straight goals. With the score 5-3 Ducks, Lidstrom scored on a pass from Henrik Z., to make it 5-4 Ducks. Then Rivers scored to make it a 5-5 tie. In the third period Whitney scored to make it 6-5 Wings. The Ducks scored again to make it 6-6. Then Sergei F. scored the game winner with 13 minutes left in the game. The Ducks also added an empty netter. Six different Wings had multiple points. Legace started the game but got pulled after allowing 4 goals. This was such a fun game to watch. It was open ice hockey. This game was a lot like the games in the 80s. The Wings fired 57 shots on net and the Ducks fired 30. I think games like this (maybe not this much scoring) would help save the NHL. There are way too many boring, low scoring games. If people saw these fun games I'm sure they would like the NHL better.

Pistons 96 Cavs 76

The Pistons played extremely well again today beating the Cleveland Cavs 96-76. The Cavs were no match for the Pistons today. Chauncey Billups scored 18 points. Boozer scored 21 points for the Cavs. Detroit is (46-25) on the season. They also moved a season-high 21 games over .500, and have held their previous seven opponents to 75 points or less. The Pistons have played great over the last few weeks and have won 12/13 games.

Saturday, March 20, 2004

Pistons 94 Nuggets 75

Again the Pistons dominated the Nuggets last night. They won the game 94-75. They have beaten the Nuggets 2 times in the last 13 thirteen days. In both games they have completely destroyed them. The game(last night) stayed close until the fourth quarter when the Pistons closed Denver out. Richard Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace both had 20 points. M. Okur also had a good game. He scored 10 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter. Even Darko pitched in with 2 points,2 rebounds, and a steal in the final quarter. This was the Pistons 7th straight victory. They are now 45-25 on the season.

This was an exciting first round to the tournament. A lot of higher seeded teams almost lost to much lower seeds. So far there hasn't been too many big upsets, but they will come. The biggest upset was Manhattan destroying, 5th seeded, Florida by 15. Another big upset was Providence losing to Pacific. My bracket is doing farely well. I picked 21 games right in the first round and 11 games wrong. All the teams I had advancing to the sweet sixteen or farther, won(except one). There are going to be so many good games in the second round, but I think the best game will be North Carolina vs. Texas. I picked UNC to get into the elite eight so I am cheering for them. Well this has been such a fun tournament so far, and I can't wait for the upcoming games!

Redwings 1 Coyotes 1 ot.

The Wings skated to a tie last night against Phoenix 1-1.Coyotes' goalie Sean Burke play incredible stopping 46/47 shots. Shanahan scored the Redwing's lone goal. Shanny's goal put him 17th on the all time goal list. In overtime Shanahan looked like he scored the game winning goal as time expired but the refs called it off. The Wings still have a 4 point lead over the Avs in the Western Conference.

Pistons 89 Nets 71

The Pistons faced a very hot Nets team tonight and came out victorious. They won the game 89-71. Rasheed Wallace played a good game scoring 16 points. Chauncey Billups also added 20 points. This was the Pistons' first game since Sunday. They started out fast and never really looked back. They dominated the Nets the whole game. The only bad news was that the Nets snapped the Pistons' NBA record of holding teams under 70 points(5 games)This was the Pistons' sixth straight victory. They have also won 10/11 games. Their overall record is now 44-25 on the season.

Bracketology 101

Tomorrow starts the NCAA tournament in college basketball. I love filling out my bracket and seeing how good I do. It is so exciting to watch the tournament's close games and incredible upsets. After each round I will say who won, how many games I got right, and who I think is going to win in the next round. Today I will just put out my Elite Eight teams. I would put all my picks down but it would take way too long. In the St.Louis region I have Georgia Tech beating Kentucky . In the East Rutherford region I have Pittsburg beating Wake Forest . In the Atlanta region I have Duke beating North Carolina. In the Phoenix division I have Uconn beating Maryland. Then in the final four I have Pittsburg beating Georgia Tech, and Duke beating Uconn. In the Championship game I have Duke beating Pittsburg to win yet another national championship.
P.S. Agree or disagree with what I said? Leave me a comment letting me know who you think is going to win the NCAA National Championship.

The Tigers' Spring Training

These last few weeks I have been writing mainly about the Pistons,Lions, and Redwings. I haven't written anything about the Tigers' spring training games. The reason I haven't is because the games aren't on tv very much and they don't mean much. I have seen a few Tigers' games and I think they have played decent this preseason. Even though spring training games don't mean much it is still nice to win them. Their record has been around 500 and they have been looking better than a usual spring. The most glaring problem with the Tigers has been all the errors. They have been making tons of them all spring. Hopefully they can eliminate that problem when the regular season comes(in 21 days). I'm actually looking forward to the upcoming season(I have never said that before!) As I have said all along, I think the Tigers will win about 70 games this year but I still think they are about a year away from competing for the wild card or the division title. If you want to know more about the Tigers' spring go to these websites-Tiger blog and Tigers Baseball.

Flames 4 Redwings 1

The Redwings finally played a bad game. They lost to the Flames last night 4-1. This loss snapped their season high 8 game winning streak. Even with the loss the Wings still hold the NHL lead for points with 96. Four different Flames scored last night. This was also the first bad game Legace played in a long time. Maltby scored the Wings lone goal. Derian H. also added an assist. All I hope is that all the Redwings players who are injured come back for the Playoff run. That is a lot more important that the President's Cup.

Michigan 65 Missouri 64

Yes, Michigan didn't get into the Big Dance. Yes, they probably deserved a bid too the tournament. But on the other hand they were supposed to be banned from tournament play this year. So when Michigan got a bid, to play in the NIT, they were very happy. Last night in the first round of the NIT they played a hot Missouri team. They won the game 65-64. There were almost 10 lead changes in the game. Michigan had a 9 point lead at one point, but Missouri came back. Both teams played very well. Near the end of the game Daniel Horton made the game winning bucket. He came down the court with only a few seconds left and hit a jumper to put Michigan up by 3. Missouri came back down and just missed the game tying three. With 0.01 left on the clock they got a layup. Michigan threw the ball in and the game was over. Now Michigan plays the winner of the LSU-Oklahoma in the second round.

Redwings 3 Nashville 2 ot.

Two nights ago the Wings made a nice comeback against Nashville. They were down by a goal in the third period and came back to win it in overtime. Although the Wings made a nice comeback it was a very boring game. Shanahan scored all three goals for the Redwings. Cujo played well again stopping 27/29 shots. The Wings keep on winning as they come closer to the playoffs.

Pistons 85 Sixers 69

The Pistons played another great game on national television today. They beat the Larry Brown's old team 85-69. The Sixers were without Allen Iverson. Corliss W. scored a team high 16 points off the bench. Rasheed had 14 points,8 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Chauncey also added 13 points. Detroit has now held 5 straight teams to under 70 points(an NBA record). They are now 42-25 on the season and are 9-3 since getting Rasheed Wallace.

Redwings 3 Stars 0

The Redwings won again yesterday against the Dallas Stars 3-0. Legace played incredible again stopping all 31 shots. Hull,McCarty, and Maltby scored for Detroit. The Wings now have 94 points(best in the Western Conference). They are now 3 points ahead of the Avs. Their next game is tonight against the Nashville

A tough Michigan loss

Michigan lost today against Illinois, in the Big Ten tournament, by 14. They were down by 15 in the second half and they came back within 2 points, but Illinois made run after run to close them out. Michigan didn't force enough turnovers and barely got to the free throw line. Daniel H. had 16 points. Michigan still has a slim shot to make it to the big dance, but I highly doubt they will get a bid. With the loss they finished 18-11 on the season.Even without a tournament bid they still had a great season.

Friday, March 12, 2004

Michigan 79 Iowa 70

Michigan won today against Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament. They beat the Hawkeyes 79-70. They played a very good game. They were up by about 20 and they almost lost the game in the end. The Hawk's made a late run but Michigan held them off. Tomorrow they face Illinois. If they win that game they are almost for sure in the Big Dance.

Redwings 4 Columbus 2

The Wings played another good game in Cujo's return last night. They beat Columbus 4-2. Jason Williams had one of his best games in his career. After being scratched for 20 games he scored 2 beautiful goals. Both goals were backhanded. Hull also added his 23 goal of the year. Zetterberg scored his 14th of the year in the empty net. Cujo looked good in his return stopping 31/33 shots. The Wings now have a 3 point lead over the Avs in the Western Conference standings and are unbeaten in their last 6 games.

Todd Bertuzzi's suspension

Todd Bertuzzi was given his suspension today for the his cheap shot that injured the Avs Steve Moore. He was suspended for the rest of this season including the playoffs. He lose about $500,000 of his salary for this season. The Canucks orginization was also fined 250,000 dollars. I think the length of his suspension was good. The NHL has to stop these cheap shots now. For a lot more on Bertuzzi's suspension go to my friends at On the Wings

Pistons 98 Bulls 65

The Pistons won again last night. They thumped the Bulls 98-65. After a long road trip they came back home and played great. Chauncey Billups had 19 points and 6 assists. Rasheed Wallace also added 18 points. The Pistons shot 55% percent in the game. The only bad news is that Tayshaun Prince was injured but it doesn't appear on how long he will be out. The Pistons set the NBA record with 4 games straight holding opponents to under 70 points. The Pistons have now won 8/9 games and are 8-3 since getting Rasheed Wallace. Their next game is Sunday against the Sixers on National Television.

Lions get Tai Streets

The Lions made another splash in free agency today. They signed free agent Tai Streets to a one year deal. He came from San Francisco and was coached under Steve M. for a while. Streets has Michigan ties because he played for Michigan University when he was in college. He the solid receiver the Lions have needed. In 2002 Tai had 72 catches,756 yards, and 5 tds. Last season he had 47 catches,595 yards, and 7 tds. He also started all 16 games last season. This offseason the Lions have made some key acquisitions but now they need a running back. Hopefully they can get what they need in the Draft or get more players in the free agent market.

Bad news for the league and the Redwings

Todd Bertuzzi made the NHL look horrible. I'm sure everyone has already seen the cheap shot he put on Steve Moore of the Avs. It was so disgusting. He sucker punched him, pounded his head into the ice,and when he was down he continued to beat on him! I'm no Avs fan but Moore didn't deserved that. Some Canucks fans may say Todd was getting revenge on Steve Moore for the concussion he gave M.Naslund. But Bertuzzi went way over the top. Moore is out for at least this season and thankfully he is not going to be paralized. Even the police are investigating the hit. I think Bertuzzi should be suspended for the rest of the season and the playoffs. The NHL is going down the tube and crud like Bertuzzi's cheap shot are making it go down even faster.
Redwings notes-Bad news for the Redwings. Robert Lang's injury is more serious than everyone thought. He is going to be out 3-4 weeks. Hopefully he will be healthy when the playoffs come around.

Good Redwings news.

The Redwings got some good news over the weekend. Derian Hatcher has fully recovered and will play tonight vs. Tampa Bay. He was sidelined early in the year after a nasty knee injury. They got him back in perfect time, a month before the playoffs. This helps the Wings who have needed a nasty defenceman all year. He doesn't have to score any goals, but he has to play good defence and pound the opponents.
Another Wing is also coming back soon. Curtis Joseph is also almost fully recovered and will play later this week. This is good news for the Wings who need Cujo back, but it is a bummer for Legace who has been playing so good(8-2) since Cujo went down.

What a road trip for the Pistons!

Wow! That is all I can say about the 5 game road trip the Pistons finished up last night. They finished the trip 4-1. Here are some of the incredible numbers they put up. They held their opponents to 76.2 points. They forced 52 turnovers during this road trip. They won their games by an average of 19.75 points. This was also the first time(since the shot clock era started) in NBA history that a team held 3 straight opponents to under 70 points. They have now won 7/8 games and are 41-25 on the season.

Pistons-86 Sonics-65

The Pistons won another road game last night beating the Seattle Supersonics 86-65. For the third straight game they dominated their opponent the whole way through. This was a great game to finish off their 5 game West coast trip. Tayshaun Prince had 14 points. Ben Wallace had 12 points and 13 rebounds. The Sonics didn't have Ray Allen for this game and you could tell. This game was all about the Pistons. Now the Pistons go back home to face the Bulls on Wednesday night.

A whooping on Mello

The Pistons won a big game against the Nuggets last night on the road. They completely destroyed them 97-66. This was a feel good victory for the Pistons, because everyone said that they should have drafted Carmello Anthony(they are probably right). It was real nice that they beat up on his team so bad. Rasheed had 20 points and 10 rebounds. Even Darko had a decent game with 4 points and 4 rebounds. The Pistons are 3-1 on this West coast road trip. They are now 6-3 since getting Rasheed Wallace.

Another Redwings win

The Wings won again last night beating the Canucks 3-1. This game was very agressive. Shanny got his 20th goal of the year. Brett Hull added his 22th goal of the year. The best player on the ice was probably Nick Lidstrom. He scored his 8th goal of the year and added 2 assists. Legace played great again and he is 8-2 since cujo went down. OTHER NOTES-Shanny's has 20 goals in 16 straight seasons.

BREAKING LION'S NEWS

The Lions made 2 big free agent signings this morning. They signed free agent Guard Damien Woody and free agent Cornerback Fernando Bryant.
Woody was a probowler in 2002 and played with the Patriots last season. His signing is big because the Lions were dead last in rushing last season. Bryant is a solid and speedy Cornerback. His signing is important because of all the injuries the Lions have had in the secondary the past few seasons. There is no word on how much either will make but the press conference is at 1:00p.m. this afternoon.

Pistons Win

The Pistons played a great game last night against Rasheed's old team. They destroyed the Trailblazers 83-68. They were pretty much leading the whole game. Rasheed had 13 points,9 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Chauncey had 16 points and 5 assists. Ben Wallace had 19 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Everybody on the Pistons played a great game on national television. They have now won 5/6 games and are 2-1 on this West coast road trip.

Pistons

Last night the Pistons suffered a bad loss to the Utah Jazz. They were leading the game in the first half but then they fell apart in the second half. Even Rasheed Wallace's 27 points couldn't help them win. This was the Pistons first loss in the last 5 games.

Wings game

The Redwings won again last night beating the Flyers 4-2. Lang had a great game in his Wings dubut. He had 3 assists and now has the sole lead for the NHL scoring race(77 points). Yzerman,Shanny,Maltby, and Mathieu S. scored the goals. The Wings now lead the NHL standings with 85 points.

4th straight win for the Pistons

The Pistons won a huge game on the road yesterday beating the Clippers 100-88.They outscored the Clippers 31-16 in the fourth quarter. Rasheed Wallace had 15 points,10 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Pistons even overcame Larry Brown getting ejected. They also shot near 50% pecent in the game on route to their 4th straight victory.

Michigan basketball

The Wolverines won another big game on Sunday beating Ohio State 75-64. It was their last game at Chrysler Arena this year. Now they must win their last 2 games on the road if they want to have a shot at making the big dance.
