Pistons 88 Bucks 92

After smoking the Bucks 3 days ago 108-82 in game 1 the Pistons lost game 2 92-88. The Bucks started the game hot and held the lead for almost the entire game. Even though the Pistons lost they still made a great comeback at the end of the game. Milwaukee held an 87-72 lead after a basket by Brevin Knight with 3:13 remaining before the Pistons converted three turnovers into baskets and got 3-pointers from Lindsey Hunter and Rasheed Wallace in a 16-3 run that cut the deficit to 90-88 with 34 seconds to go. With 9 seconds to go the Pistons fouled Damon Jones with the score still 90-88. He missed both free throws. The Pistons called timeout to draw up a gameplan. They got the ball to Rasheed Wallace(both Chauncey and Hamilton had fouled out)but Wallace lost the ball out of bounds with 4.1 seconds to go. Redd sank two free throws to seal the victory for the Bucks. It was a tough watching when Rasheed lost the ball out of bounds, it just slipped out of his hands. Even though it was a tough loss the Pistons never really deserved to win this game. The Bucks outplayed the Pistons and deserved to win this game. The series now moves to Milwaukee for game 3 and 4.
Notes-Michael Redd lead the Bucks with 26 points....Chauncey Billups had 20 points....Rip Hamilton had 18 points....Road teams had been 0-13 in the 2004 playoffs until Milwaukee's win....In Game 1, Milwaukee was outrebounded, 52-38, and committed 25 turnovers. In Game 2, the Bucks outrebounded the Pistons 48-37 and cut their turnovers from 25 to 20....This was Milwaukee's 100th playoff win in franchise history....
