Football Games
This weekend there are another 2 big football games in Detroit, one in college and one in the NFL.
The 14th ranked Michigan Wolverines will go up against the 13th ranked Minnesota Gophers at the Big House. This game is a huge one for the Big Ten, whoever wins this game could have the inside track for the Rose Bowl. We should all remember last season when the Wolverines made one of the best comebacks of all time to beat Minnesota. Michigan was down 28-7 in the fourth quarter before storming back for a 38-35 victory. Michigan's star receiver Braylon Edwards should be the main player to watch for the game. He has had an incredible season and could be on his way to a Heisman nominee season. This should be another great matchup.
The other big game this weekend in Detroit is the Detroit Lions(2-1) going on the road against the Atlanta Falcons(4-0). Detroit went up against the Eagles 2 weeks ago and lost 30-13 despite the awesome performance by Roy Williams. The Lions will have to watch Atlanta's Mike Vick, and we all know what skills he brings to the table. We will see this weekend if the Lions are for real or if their 2-0 start was just because of the weak teams they faced.
