Chad Henne is the man!

The 14th ranked Michigan Wolverines were going into Saturday's game against the 13th ranked Minnesota Gophers knowing that this game would have huge implications for who would win the Big Ten title. Michigan is now 5-1 after beating Minnesota 27-24 and looks to be the strongest team in the Big Ten.

With a little over 3 minutes left in the game, Michigan was down 24-20 and was on their own 13 yard line. Michigan's Chad Henne led them down the field before throwing a 31 yard touchdown pass to Tyler Ecker with 1:57 left in the game. Michigan then held Minnesota off to win the game.

Chad Henne had another awesome performance. He threw for 328 yards on 33-49 passing, both records for a freshman at Michigan. He threw 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions(both interceptions came in the third quarter). This guy continues to impress. He seems to get better and better as the season goes on.

Heisman hopeful Braylon Edwards caught 10 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.

Michigan's freshman running back Mike Hart ran for 160 yards and a score. His 160 yards were a record for a freshman at Michigan. He also had 53 yards receiving.

This was another great win for Michigan. They have showed they can win against good teams. Even though they can celebrate this victory, harder tests come later in the season when they will face Purdue and Ohio State.
