Coldstove Notes

It looks like Derek Lowe and Kevin Millwood will most likely not be playing with the Detroit Tigers next season. Millwood is finalizing a 1 year, 7 million dollar deal with the Indians. Lowe is probably going to sign with the Dodgers. It is tough to see the Tigers lose out on even more good players. I think their problem this entire offseason was that they did not want to spend the big bucks to get some of these star players. However, it can not all be blamed on the Tigers. Most of these players simply did not want to play on a losing team. I can not really blame them but it is still tough to see them sign somewhere other than Detroit. With the Tigers not doing much this offseason, it could be another long regular season in Detroit.
